Mantra Monday-“How Do You Want to Feel?”

Today’s mantra is inspired by the motivating Danielle LaPorte and her book The Desire Map. I read The Desire Map at the end of last year and used it to set my goals and intentions for 2015. I blogged about what my intentions were on my personal blog and came up wanting to feel; Passionately Inspired, Vibrantly Healthy, Intuitively Honest, Lovingly Healing and Divinely Connected. I have approached goal setting a whole new way since reading this book and strive to not simply accomplish tasks, but accomplish them in a way that I am in touch with my core desired feelings for the day, week, month, etc.

how do you want to feel? This past week, as I have worked through my to-do list, I have also listed next to my bullet point tasks how I want to feel that day. My core desired feelings for the week have ranged from; Connected, Energized, Accomplished and Productive. Focusing on how I want to feel by the end of the day as opposed to what I want to complete shifts around my approach to these tasks and reminds me of my intentions in setting those goals to begin with.
